Pay your Zakat through CBD Online Banking

In collaboration with Zakat Fund, we have launched a new Zakat payment services through CBD Online Banking.

Zakat Fund, UAE is the federal authority specializing in the acceptance of Zakat and spending it on the needy in order to achieve widespread social development for the individuals and families residing in the UAE. It promotes mutual helpfulness and integrity within the communities across the UAE.

  • If you are an existing CBD Online Banking customer, you can pay your Zakat now.
  • If you are a CBD customer, but not registered for CBD Online Banking, you need to register first. Registering is quick and easy.
  • If you are not a CBD customer, you can pay Zakat through our branches as well as using CBD cash deposit machines by inputting relevant Zakat account numbers. You can calculate your Zakat Al Mal here.

Yes, your periodical statement of accounts will show complete description of the amounts you paid towards Zakat.
No. There is no maximum cap to pay the Zakat amount. However, you need to ensure that sufficient balance is available in the account to cover the Zakat payment.
No. You can pay your Zakat by debiting your savings or current accounts only.
Yes, you can pay Zakat in cash through our branches or our CDMs (cash deposit machines) by inputting relevant Zakat account numbers.

You can pay three types of Zakat: Zakat Al Mal, Zakat Al Fitr and Sadaqat donations (voluntary charity).
If you are registered CBD Online Banking customer, you can pay your Zakat by logging into CBD Online Banking. Under Transfers you will find Zakat option.
